New iMac delivers more pixels and performance

 On October 16, 2014, Apple unveiled the 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display featuring 14.7 million resolution display.

The new 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display comes with a remarkable 5120 x 2880 resolution.

14.7 million Pixels resolution
 
The new iMac has four times more pixels than other iMacs. Advanced image quality with no compromise on energy consumption and thin design results in a breathtaking display.
 
The power inside
 
Two variants of iMac are available. One with fourth-generation quad-core 3.5GHz Intel Core i5 processor and for more speed opt for the quad-core 4.0GHz Intel Core i7 processor.
 
The new iMac with Retina 5K display features the latest AMD high-performance graphics with up to 3.5 teraflops of graphics compute power.
 
A standard 1TB fusion drive comes with the new iMac and there is an option to upgrade it to 3TB for higher performance.
 
Thunderbolt 2 I/O technology for 20 Gbps data transfer across different media.
 
 
The new iMac supports ultrafast 802.11ac Wi-Fi. Comes with a USB 3 port which is 10 times faster than USB 2.
 
OS X Yosemite is the operating system that powers the iMac.
