Dev Center Lifetime registration starts today
Microsoft announced today the lifetime Dev Center account and a new Dev Center Benefits program. Dev Center costs a fee, from yearly to a one-time lifelong registration. Microsoft is detailing several new features for its Windows and Windows Phone developers.
New developers will need to pay just once for a lifelong account to publish apps to both Windows and the Windows Phone store.
Windows Dev Center requires only a one-time registration payment, which enables developers the ability to submit apps to both Windows and Windows Phone stores with no annual renewal fee.
Each of our 600,000+ existing developers are already upgraded to a lifelong account (there is now no need for them to pay any additional fees to maintain their account). Open your Dev Center Account and start submitting apps.
The Dev Center benefits program offers the following levels of support:
Explorer, get started quickly with design and architecture guidance from a Microsoft expert, along with Windows Store gift cards....Expert, reach more users faster with advertising offers, a publishing contract and more.,Master, build a direct connection with the Windows Store to enjoy Store merchandising, priority publisher support, SDK early access and more.
When your apps get more downloads, higher revenue and better ratings then you can move from Explorer to Export to Master. Dev center offers help to improve the app experience.
This program is open to all registered developers as well as developers who want to develop their app for Windows or Windows Phone. Take advantage of this program
